The leading consultancy firm is looking for a skilled Level 2 Wireless Support to join the team for an initial 6-month contract, with the rate signed off inside IR35. Additionally, this position offers an on-site working arrangement based in Heathrow.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless connectivity issues, performance degradation, and interference problems.
- Proactive monitoring of the wireless infrastructure is performed to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Work with Cisco Wireless Access Points (APs) and Meraki solutions, ensuring their smooth operation and maintenance.
- Conduct wireless network health checks, diagnose faults, and escalate issues as needed.
- Support firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and optimizations for wireless controllers and access points.
- Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to align wireless performance with overall business objectives.
- Provide technical support for end-users experiencing wireless connectivity issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network changes, incident resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Assist in the deployment and integration of new wireless technologies and enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless APs and Meraki wireless solutions.
- Solid understanding of wireless troubleshooting, RF principles, and network security protocols.
- Familiarity with wireless controllers, authentication methods (802.1X, WPA2/3), and VLANs.
- Experience with network monitoring tools to track wireless performance and detect anomalies.
- Ability to work independently in a high-demand environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset to diagnose and resolve wireless issues efficiently.
