As a Level 2 Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing client network and satellite connectivity solutions. You will play a key role in supporting customers, resolving technical issues, improving network performance, and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 technical support for network and satellite connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and satellite communication systems.
  • Monitor network performance and escalate complex issues to Level 3 engineers or vendors as required.
  • Assist in deploying and maintaining network infrastructure, including LEO and GEO satellite systems, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Configure and manage networking hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Mikrotik.
  • Support network security by implementing best practices and working with firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Document issues, solutions, and best practices to enhance internal knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to optimize system performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in network engineering, IT support, or telecommunications.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
  • Experience with satellite communication networks, WAN, Antennas, and cloud-based networking is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment supporting mission-critical connectivity solutions.
