Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support for network and satellite connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and satellite communication systems.
- Monitor network performance and escalate complex issues to Level 3 engineers or vendors as required.
- Assist in deploying and maintaining network infrastructure, including LEO and GEO satellite systems, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Configure and manage networking hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Mikrotik.
- Support network security by implementing best practices and working with firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Document issues, solutions, and best practices to enhance internal knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to optimize system performance and reliability.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in network engineering, IT support, or telecommunications.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Experience with satellite communication networks, WAN, Antennas, and cloud-based networking is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment supporting mission-critical connectivity solutions.
