A rapidly growing ISP is seeking a Junior Engineer to join its technical team. This role involves preparing and configuring equipment for dispatch to customers, assisting with basic equipment setup, and working closely with support teams to ensure timely delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing networking equipment such as routers, switches, microwave radios & 4/5G equipment
  • Support the project manager in assigning equipment to jobs.
  • Prepare equipment for installation and shipping to customers.
  • Assist the NOC support team with basic configuration of customer equipment.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and contribute to project-related tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of installing things previously - doesn't have to be networking (previous hire was a kitchen fitter)
  • Strong teamwork skills, open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Valid driver's license.

Desirable:

  • Interest, training, or qualifications in IT or networking.
  • Previous experience in an engineering or technical role.
