Junior Firewall and Network Administrator - Network Security Provider

An award-winning Alberta-based Network Security company is seeking a Junior Firewall and Network Administrator to manage, support and troubleshoot their devices for leading clients.

This is also a hybrid working role so you will have the flexibility to work from home 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Tier 1 support for Network and Firewall technical issues 
• Resolve issues or escalate up to an engineer 
• Engage with customers on phone and via email 
• Engage with vendors for support on occasion
• Raise tickets and respond to tickets 

Skills/Must have:

• Basic understanding of Networking (OSI Model, MAC, ARP, TCP/UDP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
• Firewall administration experience 
• Basic Network administration experience
