We are partnered with a company that has been providing Enterprise-level IT services to California Schools, Local and State agencies, and businesses for more than 20 years. In addition, they also partner with the nation's leading distributors to ensure that their solutions are effective and cost-competitive. As a result, they are continuously building an extensive client base and are looking to expand into adjacent markets.

To achieve this goal, they are looking to add individuals to the engineering team who are looking for an opportunity to grow in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about developing a career in technology.


Responsibilities:

  • Review of RFP/RFQ/ RFI for quality review (presentation, solution completeness, etc) and socialize any improvement points to the team
  • Manage all project phases and timelines including planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing
  • Document and record project documents in an organized manner such as statements of work, close-out documents, client updates, scheduling, resource planning
  • Conduct resource allocation (staffing of resources on projects and scheduling from on-site installations/visits and ensuring that team is ready to go on site)
  • Ensure that the project stays on budget, and on schedule, and all milestones are met

Sales & Operations Management

  • Identify and escalate to account executive team’s new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Ensure standards of operational excellence and procedures are upheld, remedy any situations with engineering and/or functional teams
  • Maintain relationships with clients, solicit feedback, and continuously seek improvement areas to implement

Skills/Must have:

  • 3 years experience in a PM role or equivalent
  • Strong background and knowledge of IT Network Infrastructure technologies including Cisco, HPE, Aruba, low voltage cabling (fiber, CAT5/6) and more
  • Excellent client presentation and communication skills in English
  • Excellent work ethic and self-motivator

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in PM role or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of education procurement and erate program
  • Current CAPM or PMP certification a plus or equivalent project management experience and certifications
  • Certification and/or experience working in an ITIL or IT Service Management environment preferred
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive environment
  • Flexible scheduling (some weekend or after-hours work)

Salary:

  • $70,000 base
