Are you an experienced leader wanting to manage a remote team?
Our client, a global leader in the engineering space are looking for a IT Operations Manager! If you have experience in leading teams & core Microsoft 365 applications/services we want to hear from you!
This is a fully remote role, but you must be based within Australia for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior representative for all operational activities.
- Mentor, oversee, coach, and train technical support staff.
- Assist team members in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Support specialists in managing, monitoring, and optimizing service performance, stability, and security.
- Act as the primary contact for technical escalations.
- Onboard new technical support team members.
- Monitor and report on service performance metrics.
- Establish work specifications and provide technical direction.
- Participate in a follow-the-sun model to ensure global support.
- Collaborate on implementing redundant systems, policies, and procedures for business continuity.
- Provide on-call support and extended working hours when required, and be willing to accept periodic rotation.
Experience & Skills:
- Demonstrate practical experience in workplace operations and technical leadership.
- Advanced, comprehensive knowledge of workplace services and infrastructure.
- Experience in large/global enterprise IT environments
- Experience working within ITIL framework.
- Knowledge of core Microsoft services & applications, including:
- Active Directory
- Exchange and Exchange Online
- Teams and SharePoint
- Intune and MDM
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
Salary/Package:
- $150,000
