They are currently seeking a skilled Infrastructure SCOM Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an SCOM Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and administering infrastructure services, leveraging your expertise in System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and automation tools to optimize performance and ensure the reliability of our clients' IT environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support and administration for infrastructure services, with a focus on SCOM.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Gitlab, Github, and PowerShell to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and optimize infrastructure performance.
  • Adhere to security protocols and compliance standards, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support and address urgent issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong automation and scripting skills, with experience using Gitlab, Github, and PowerShell to automate tasks and workflows.
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance, demonstrating eligibility to work on sensitive government projects.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Service Provider environment, supporting external clients.
