We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to oversee our clients IT infrastructure operations, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our server, storage, networking, and backup systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure, strong technical skills, and a proven track record in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of server, storage, networking, and backup systems.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT infrastructure.
- Develop and implement infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures.
Azure Administration:
- Manage and optimize cloud services and resources in Microsoft Azure.
- Implement best practices for cloud security, cost management, and performance tuning.
- Ensure seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
Server and Storage Management:
- Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, availability, and efficient utilization.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
Networking:
- Oversee network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall configurations.
- Ensure network security, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly.
Backup and Disaster Recovery:
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure regular backups and data recovery processes are performed and tested.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Project Management:
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Collaborate with other departments to align IT initiatives with business goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure management or a related role.
- Extensive experience with server, storage, networking, and backup systems.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure administration.
- Proven experience in managing and leading IT teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are a plus.
