A leader in resolving indoor mobile coverage challenges, is seeking Graduate RF Engineer to join a small, close-knit engineering team working on end-to-end DAS deployments across the UK. With increasing demand for surveys, designs, and testing, they need someone who can support the team with on-site work, system designs, and pre-staging. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in RF engineering, testing, and system design, with potential to progress into a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct RF surveys using TEMS Pocket and Ookla ping tests to assess network performance.
  • Assist with RF system design using Visio, working with the Systems Engineering Manager on macrosites and directional antenna alignments.
  • Participate in pre-staging equipment setup to streamline on-site deployments.
  • Travel across the UK to support field operations, ensuring smooth installation and testing of RF equipment.
  • Learn and shadow senior engineers, gradually taking on responsibilities with support.

Skills / Must Have:

  • Engineering background (degree, diploma, or relevant training in RF, Telecommunications, or a related field).
  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle (expenses reimbursed at HMRC rate of 45p per mile).
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and stay away for project work.
  • Understanding of RF fundamentals (e.g., propagation, dB levels, signal measurements).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently after training.

Nice to Have:

  • Formal RF-related training or certifications.
  • IT/Networking skills (but a networking-focused graduate may not be the best fit).
