We are working with a leading provider of direct wireless and fiber internet service provider for both Gunnison/ Crested Butte and rural Castle Rock.

They are seeking a talented, driven FTTH Technician to join their growing company.

 As an FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) Technician, you'll play a crucial role in deploying and maintaining fiber optic networks directly to residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure high-quality installations and ongoing support for our customers, contributing to the expansion of high-speed internet access across communities.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform fiber optic installations, including fiber cable routing, termination, and splicing, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and plan fiber routes effectively.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot FTTH equipment and devices at customer premises.
  • Test and certify fiber optic connections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to coordinate installations and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding FTTH services, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and resolving service disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions using designated systems or tools.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and self-study to stay current with industry advancements.

Skills/Must have:

  • Proficiency in fiber optic installation techniques, including cable routing, termination, and splicing.
  • Experience with FTTH equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic testing tools and procedures for signal verification and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices for working with fiber optic cables.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting installations and troubleshooting steps.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.
