Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to gather accurate information for project estimation and documentation.
  • Supervise and manage installation activities, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate with the estimation team to relay critical project information.
  • Oversee minor installation tasks, such as racking, stacking, and fiber optic management.
  • Manage changes to existing spaces within the data center cluster.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to maintain smooth operations and high service quality.
  • Support team members transitioning from on-the-tools roles to supervisory positions.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • A strong background in structured cabling and/or fiber optic testing and installation.
  • Practical, hands-on experience in data center environments.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably having transitioned from an on-the-tools position.
  • Solid understanding of installation techniques and practices in the data center industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in estimating or preparing documentation for data center projects.
  • Knowledge of racking, stacking, and fiber optic components.
  • Familiarity with DC-specific protocols and standards.
