This role offers the opportunity to support in defining an exciting strategic area for a growing technical projects division. The Cloud Technical Presales Team focuses on projects around Data & Artificial Intelligence.

The primary mission of the Technical Presales team is to work alongside valued customers and turn discussions about technology into practical applications. While not a hands-on delivery role, this position requires experts who can instantly gain technical credibility with customers, enabling in-depth discussions on their technical needs and transforming them into projects.

The ideal candidate will bring insight and knowledge in the Data & AI landscape, from designing Big Data/Cognitive Services High-Level Designs to planning Proof of Concept projects and discussing next-generation AI productivity and platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI service, or AWS Bedrock.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal delivery and partner networks to deliver end-to-end data solutions for customers
  • Assist customers in defining their data strategy
  • Create technical documentation to support customer implementations
  • Provide technical insight and qualification for opportunities to the internal sales team
  • Define customer requirements and translate them into solution designs

Skills/Must have:

  • Educational Qualifications: Degree level qualification is not essential but desirable
  • Professional Qualifications: Solution architect or data cloud certifications in AWS or Azure are desirable
  • Years of Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience is essential

Other Requirements:

  • Desirable certifications include DP200 Azure Data Engineer Associate, DP203 Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure, Azure Solution Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, PowerBI Data Analyst

Core Competencies & Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in designing data solutions in Microsoft Azure or AWS (both ideal)
  • Relevant experience with Azure AI Services and Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong communication skills for describing technical solutions to senior IT stakeholders
  • Experience in helping develop customer data strategies and deriving business outcomes through technology adoption
  • Strong team player
  • Strong understanding of data security best practices

Salary:
