We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join their remote team. As a crucial member of a cybersecurity team, you will play a leading role in protecting clients' digital assets. Your primary focus will be on utilizing Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats, ensuring the integrity and security of clients' environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Leverage Microsoft Sentinel and Defender to monitor security events, detect threats, and respond swiftly to incidents.
  • Threat Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of security events, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions.
  • Security Architecture: Design and implement security solutions that align with industry best practices and meet client-specific requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies to enhance our security operations and service

Skills/Must have:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in SIEM solutions, threat detection, and incident response.
  • Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst) are highly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Location: 

  • Must be based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.

Salary:

  • £75,000
