We are partnered with a major defence contractor in Australia that provides a wide range of products and services to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and other government agencies.  They are currently looking for a passionate professional to join their Defence Delivery team in the role of Cyber Security Architect.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Offer security guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring teams adhere to security standards, procedures, and relevant controls based on risk and compliance needs.
• Provide technical security recommendations and design contributions for Cloud, Web, Application, IT, IoT, and Operational Technology systems.
• Lead threat modelling and design risk assessment processes within the Defence Delivery environment.
• As a senior team member, mentor colleagues and provide cybersecurity advice to other staff.

 Key Skills (Must-haves) and Role Expectations:

• Proven experience in the ICT security domain, with extensive knowledge in Network, Infrastructure, Operating Systems, and Applications.
• Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM) and other global industry security standards (NIST, ISO, PCI DSS) relevant to ICT security.
• Must have, or be eligible for, defence security clearance.
• Eligibility for clearance under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

 Salary Package:

• $180,000
