Core Network Engineer - Systems Integrator

The company is seeking for a skilled Core Network Engineer on for a 6-month contract based in Stockholm, Sweden. This role requires fluency in Swedish and availability to work on-site 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize core IP/MPLS networks
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues
• Configure and maintain BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS
• Ensure network availability, redundancy, and scalability
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to support critical infrastructure
• Document network configurations, processes, and changes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in core network engineering
• Strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia networking solutions
• Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and MPLS
• Experience in network troubleshooting, optimization, and security
• Familiarity with service provider or large enterprise networks
• Fluency in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Based in Sweden or willing to travel to Stockholm 2 days per week
