Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual labor for telecommunications construction, including the installation and removal of equipment.
  • Support fellow technicians to enhance workflow and project efficiency.
  • Accurately complete essential documentation, including Daily Progress Reports, Safety Tailboards, and timecards.
  • Provide detailed as-built prints and project photos for closeout packages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, equipment, and job sites.
  • Safely operate vehicles and machinery such as bucket trucks, trenchers, and digger derricks.
  • Carry out tasks including tree trimming, brush clearing, and excavation as needed.
  • Accurately interpret work prints to place cables, conduits, and other infrastructure.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and incident reporting, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, demonstrating leadership when needed.
  • Take charge as a crew leader in the absence of a project manager, maximizing crew productivity.
  • Mentor less experienced employees, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain professional interactions with clients and the public, representing the company positively.

Education and Experience:

  • Valid CDL-A license with the ability to maintain a CDL medical card required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3-5 years of prior construction experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
