Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cloud infrastructure projects, overseeing hands-on implementation for large-scale deployments, while integrating Microsoft Defender XDR across endpoints, identities, applications, and cloud workloads.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard critical assets, and integrate Microsoft Defender solutions with SIEM tools like Elastic SIEM.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments, respond to potential breaches using SIEM tools, and design secure access models, including least privilege and just-in-time (JIT) access.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (TSA, GDPR, HIPAA) and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST), while configuring Azure AD Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and deploying Azure Key Vault for secure management of secrets, keys, and certificates.
  • Implement hybrid network solutions, such as Azure ExpressRoute and VPN Gateway, and design Single Sign-On (SSO) using Azure AD, while configuring and monitoring privileged roles with automated workflows.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate infrastructure deployment, develop IaC scripts for efficient provisioning, and automate repetitive tasks like patch management and incident response.
  • Administer Windows and Linux servers, ensuring system stability, security, and high availability by re-engineering standalone solutions and managing virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, vSphere, NSX, and vSAN.
  • Perform database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and optimization of SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership while creating and maintaining detailed infrastructure and system documentation.
  • Offer on-call support and participate in out-of-hours maintenance or migrations to ensure continuous system performance and reliability.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years in cloud infrastructure projects with hands-on implementation.
  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity implementations, including threat intelligence, identity and access management, and network security.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Defender, Azure AD, PAM solutions, and Elastic monitoring systems.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, database management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
