A leading provider of managed mobile services, M2M, and IoT solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand its client base in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities through targeted research, cold calling, networking events, and industry referrals, with a focus on acquiring Corporate, Business, and SME clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve aggressive revenue targets and expand our clients' market presence in the telecommunications sector.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our clients' portfolio of Voice, Data, Internet, and Mobility services tailored to meet their specific requirements.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target organizations, positioning our client as a trusted partner and advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal sales support teams, technical experts, and solution architects to develop customized proposals, address client inquiries, and ensure seamless transition from prospecting to onboarding.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in telecommunications, and leverage market insights to identify new business opportunities and differentiate our clients' offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management roles within the telecommunications industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and acquiring new business.
  • Deep understanding of telecommunications products, services, and solutions, with a focus on Voice, Data, Internet, and Mobility offerings.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence key decision-makers at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a passion for driving business growth and achieving measurable outcomes in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Salary: 

  • AUD 140k + Uncapped Commission
