Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with home AV systems, control systems, networking, and smart home technology.
  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and upgrades to existing installations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Install and configure audio, video, and networking components as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, programmers, and installers to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of service calls, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in AV installation or service, preferably in residential environments.
  • Strong knowledge of home automation systems (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Savant, RTI, Lutron).
  • Experience with audio/video distribution, home theaters, wired/wireless networks, and security integration.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage wiring, networking protocols, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications (CEDIA, CTS, Control4, Crestron, or similar).
  • Experience with remote troubleshooting and remote management software.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, and RF systems.

  • $60,000 - $80,000
