5G Core Developer - Consultancy

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 5G Core components using C and C++.
• Implement and optimize User Plane Function (UPF), Session Management Function (SMF), and Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure reliability.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions for the 5G Core network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to 5G Core components.
• Work with 5G protocol stacks such as RRC, PDCP, PFCP, NAS, GTP, and HTTP2.

Requirements:

• 7-9 years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years in 5G Core development.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience working with 5G Core components (UPF, SMF, AMF).
• Strong understanding of 3GPP standards and 5G protocols.
• Familiarity with NFV (Network Function Virtualization) and SDN (Software-Defined Networking).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Python or Java.
• Experience with open-source 5G Core solutions like Open5GS.
