Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement WAN networks, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and optimize BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and RIP protocols.
- Work with Cisco ASR, 7600, Nexus, and Juniper platforms.
- Collaborate with carriers to troubleshoot SONET, SDH, DWDM, and Ethernet services.
- Implement and support MPLS solutions including L3 VPN, L2 VPN, VPLS, MPLS QoS, MPLS TE, and mVPN.
- Utilize traffic monitoring tools such as NBAR, NetFlow, SFlow, HP OpenView, WUP, Nagios, and Tivoli.
- Provide project implementation support, including out-of-hours work when required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in WAN networking within Software Defined Networks.
- Excellent knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and RIP.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR, 7600, Nexus, and Juniper platforms.
- Strong knowledge of carrier technologies (SONET, SDH, DWDM, Ethernet services).
- Experience with ASR9K XR, GIT, GITLAB, and JSON.
- Proficiency in MPLS technologies (L3 VPN, L2 VPN, VPLS, MPLS QoS, MPLS TE, mVPN).
- Experience with traffic monitoring and network management tools.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Juniper EX9200 and QFX 3500 platforms.
- Knowledge of Packet Design, OPNET, NetBrain, and similar tools.
- Experience with SDN and JUNOS is highly advantageous.
