They are now seeking a PCRF Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Contribution: Participate in designing cloud-native PCF, PCRF, and UDR systems for 3G, 4G and 5G packet Data.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective technical relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration and project success.
  • Self-Motivation and Team Leadership: Lead and contribute to virtual teams to deliver high-quality services that meet our customers' needs and expectations.
  • Continuous Learning: Continuously update and expand your technical knowledge to keep our network ahead of industry standards.

 Must-Haves:

  • PCRF Platform Architecture: Demonstrated technical expertise and experience in PCRF/ PCF platform architecture, including Diameter (Rx, Gx) and HTTP interfaces towards EPC and IMS core elements.
  • Design specialist: Production and continuous update of HLD (High Level Design) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for PCRF/ PCF network elements and its policies.
  •  5G Standalone Architecture: Strong background in the packet core and its protocols (diameter, radius, dns, tcp, gtp), especially a strong understanding of new 5G Standalone architecture and interfaces.
  • Policy Design: In-depth knowledge of PCRF policy design to support current and future data product requirements, i.e.:
  • configuration of new APN;
  • design of rules for social packs and different charging and content.
  • Speed throttling and QoS modification with user data packs with the static and dynamic PCC rules.
  • Testing and implementation of different policies based on customer requirements.
  • BSS Provisioning and Subscriber Management: Good understanding of BSS provisioning architecture and subscriber management.
  • Cloud Native and VNF Platforms: Solid technical understanding of cloud-native and VNF platform architecture and deployment.
  • Customer Perspective: Ability to approach design problems with a strong customer-centric viewpoint.

Salary:

£350 - £400 per day outside ir35
