They are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Sales & Procurement Officer to join their client in Brisbane. This role involves supporting the procurement and sales of IT hardware and software products, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales and administrative support for procurement and sales functions.
  • Order IT products from suppliers using computer-based accounting systems.
  • Communicate with customers, keeping them informed on order progress.
  • Process and track orders efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in stock logistics and inventory management, including dispatching goods.
  • Coordinate with freight companies to manage deliveries.
  • Compile data to prepare and provide customer reports.
  • Track and coordinate warranty calls, managing the full warranty service lifecycle.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, including phone handling, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Handle other duties as required to support business operations.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role or 5 years in an administrative role.
  • Proven ability to liaise with customers and suppliers effectively.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, including quoting, ordering, invoicing, receipting, and handling returns.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of customer issues and drive resolutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level or higher.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience or knowledge of IT products is advantageous but not mandatory.
