Hi, nice to meet you I'm Sarah, a few facts about me...

• Started off on the other side of the fence contracting in IT.

After studying Computer Science at University I began my career in the contracting world of IT.  The years that followed saw me take a break from my career to raise my family full-time!  By the time I was ready and able to go back to full-time work, the industry I worked in had moved at a break-neck pace and the technology I worked on was now kept behind glass in science museums.  At this time, the Marketing Executive here made a move back home and so there was an opportunity to come back to the networking world but from a different perspective.  

Here at Hamilton Barnes, we specialise in sourcing talent and opportunities in the world I once worked in.  I've always loved tech, especially Networking and although no longer hands-on, it allows me to keep up to date with this constantly evolving world of Network Engineering.

It's been tremendous to see the evolution of our podcast, the Route to Networking.

The Route to Networking podcast focuses on discussing Networking-related topics with industry specialists.

Learn from some of the biggest names in the Networking space, including industry specialists and evangelists chatting about all things networking, and emerging tech, and offering that golden nugget of career advice to Networking Professionals.

As well the  Networking series, we have three spin-off series including 'Women in Tech', 'Security Vendor' and 'Fibre Edition' which are all aimed at targeting neurodiversity

Our women in technology podcast is one close to home.  As a business, we are passionate about helping women secure a successful career in technology, with 18% of our placements being female.  We have mentorship programmes to help drive this and a variety of PR surrounding this.
